Dr. Simon Anthony Humphries, MD

Dr Humphries seemed nice enough - but when I got the bill, he claimed to have done a psych evaluation and claimed I was anxious... which is ridiculous. I cam win to get a Rx for a blood test for insurance purposes at work. I'm 42 yr old successful executive at a large tech company. So when I confronted him or asked of him to adjust the billing codes he used - he claimed "I was the most anxious patient he had ever met" - his office manager gave my wife and I the run around for weeks incorrectly explaining the reason why our bills weren't covered as a regular checkup (as he had performed). We need up paying hundreds of dollars in bills to him because of the codes he used and he proceeded to rudely manage my requests. He is a nice enough man - but seems like he is at the end of his rope and practice ... and is smiling his patients for all that they can afford. I don't know how else to get any recourse - and it's sad that a physician who I should trust to take care of me and have… my best interest in mind - can get away with stuff like this.

My father has dementia and I have to attend all his appts. The staff & Dr. Humphries is extremely understanding & supportive of the situation. Dr. Humphries has taken his own time to speak with me phone/person individually about the disease, what to expect etc...he's been like a private support group

I have had times when I was needed to be seen on an urgent basis and he squeezed me in or cut his lunch time short so he could see me. He is always so careful to ask "have we addressed all of your concerns today" He take whatever time is needed and is an excellent diagnostician. Getting refills at the pharmacy when they need to call the doctors office is usually done the same day. He is professional yet personable.

Dr.Humphries had been new to dealing with patient who suffered from hiv/aids, and seemed eager to help out in any way he could to acquire knowledge in this fieldHis bedside manner was very interesting to say, while his house calls always made me wanting him to come back for more.
