Dr. Sinclair Booker Mccracken, MD

Dr McCracken is SUPER, GREAT, FANTASTIC, and other praise I could give her but her staff is horrid. They seem to be polite but they don't do their job in a timely manner and then half of the time they screw it up. It should not take 6 weeks for them to send a referral for something and then send the wrong referral. You go to the office and I have sat in the office for over an hour just waiting to be called to the back to sit again for over an hour. Not professional at all. My time is just as valuable as theirs is.

The doctor is great but the waiting time is so so long I have appointment for my mom to see doctor Sinclair B Mccracken at 3:30 and we Check in 2:30 until now is 4:30 the doctor still not come to see her yet I don’t know when gonna be done this is so sad I don’t think we have this kind of time sit and wait haft of day just for see the doctor.

Dr. McCracken has been my doctor for more than 19 years. She is wonderful, thoughtful and very professional. She also has a genuine spirit about her and truly cares about patients. When my mom passed she was there for me and more than 5 years later she is still there during that month making sure I am okay. You can't find too many doctors like that, not just in it for the money. Her staff is awesome! They are helpful, friendly and polite.

I believe I was one of her earlist patients and I have never looked forward to a visit with a doctor until i met her. She is tops in every catagory you would care to name. i, too followed her from Norfolk and i consider the trip well worth while.

Dr. McCracken was the first doctor I had who did not go just by the numbers. She actually listens and takes everything into consideration. You are just not a number or a test result, but a human being, an individual. I have been her patient for the past 5+ years. and am so glad I found her.

I have seen Dr. McCracken for over 10 years. I am a Norfolk resident that now makes the 20+ mile commute to see her at the Newport News office. I have never had a doctor that is like her. She genuinely cares. She takes time with me that I need. She is thorough and she is encouraging. She also has a great PA. I have never had any mix up with billing and her office staff is wonderful. She has a patient for life with me.

When she relocated, it meant an hour drive for me, but I stayed with her. She is the best doctor I've ever had. She listens to you. Even if you just have a "feeling" that something isn't right, she takes you seriously. She's direct, honest, caring and fun. We are moving and not having her for my doctor will be one of the hardest parts of leaving this area of the country.

McCracken has been my physician for several years. She is compassionate and knowledgeable - the qualitities I look for in a doctor.

Dr. McCracken is highly professional while also making you feel as if you are a part of her family. She is interested in YOU and is so helpful and patient when listening to your concerns. She takes time with you and will not just rush you in and out. I travel 20 miles to see her and it is worth it!
