Dr. Slavisa Gasic, MD

Dr. Gasic was very empathetic, he took his time and explained everything to me. originally I requested a female doctor but was given Dr. Gasic. I would highly recommend him to anyone and will gladly see him again. He's like an angel.

I paid 386 dollar out of pocket for the very first appointment. I had been referred to this doctor by another one from my local clinic because my blood platelets were low from a blood test. So they recommend me to this "doctor". So I call to the main office in San Antonio and tell them I have no insurance. I told them that I was willing to pay in payments. They tell me that "they will work with me" but never really confirm that they will accept payments. So I make an appointment with this doctor which is in Uvalde Texas. I go to the appointment with no money because I was under the impression that I was going to be put on a payment plan. I get there and they tell me that I have to pay 386 dollars in order to see him. So they send me to their financial advisor, and of course im upset. Then the financial advisor comments to me that for 386 dollars the doctor will give me a diagnosis and a plan to solve the problem. All of my blood work and x rays were already in his possession and that… info the doctor would be able to determine a diagnosis. So finally I see him and notice that almost immediately he starts to ask me questions. So throughout the examination I notice no eye contact and also notice he looks sleepy by his and his slouched over posture. So im answering his questions wich he is already suppose to know. Its his job to answer my questions...hes the doctor not me........so then he looks start to look anxious and eager to leave....then he tries to leave like ok I have had enough of asking you questions, so right before he opens the door I get up and ask him aren't I going to get a diagnosis.....thats what your staff told me. Just like the look non his face was like what do you want now.....then unreluctantly tells me the diagnosis. So now the im being given paper work and notice the official diagnosis is not in any documents. So I tell the lady behind the desk that I wanted the diagnosis documented for record keeping. She reaches out and hand writes it on the document. I told her can I have it printed out in case I have to present it to in court. Then she tells me that it is not in her system.... well put in the computer and print it...she gives attitude and another lady says ill take care of it. I was very upset and unhappy.
