, please do your homework before you choose Dr. Singla. When I was diagnosed with Stage III colorectal cancer right after a colonoscopy at Dignity Health by Dr. Massaro, he said Dr. Singla was the best. I was in shock, so I trusted Dr Singla was the best. Through our initial meeting he was abrasive but I was so desperate to have "the best" I tolerated his insensitive jokes & rude remarks. He said before my surgery, wow! You put on weight. What surgeon says that to a cancer patient?He also said in front of my husband in an appt, "don't worry, I'll save your a**" and after my surgery when I was coming too, he whispered in my ear" I told you I'd save your a**" Who says that??Not only did I have to tolerate this surgeon but his bedside manner needs intensive help. So insensitive. Insisting my pain was "anxiety" when in reality, instead of putting a bag on my low lying tumor, he reconnected me and I had leaking and developed an infection and sepsis which he said I didn't but I was… admitted in the ER and they confirmed, I did. I finally found a specialist at Sutter who was an actual colorectal specialist and ended up being diagnosed with Major LARS because of his botched surgery. My quality of life has been affected and I will never be the same, thanks to this surgeon. I'm sharing in detail because I trusted the referral because I was in full panic mode after the diagnosis. No one told me there are specialist for this diagnosis. If I can help someone then I am grateful to have possibly steered one person in the right direction. I complained but nothing happened. Shame

Dr. Singla performed my Whipple procedure 5 weeks ago. He answered all of my questions, and explained everything to me. The surgery went very well and my hospital stay was shorter than initially expected. I am grateful that the operation could be performed here rather than going out of the area. I thank him and his staff for great care and attention.

A very good surgeon. Makes you feel very comfortable and explains things very good. I would recommend him over and over again.
