Dr. Sofia Lam, MD

Have been seeing Dr. Lam for years and am able to function a normal life thanks to her care. I have had multiple spinal surgeries with chronic pain as a result. She has come up with a regimen of main medication and exercise that allows me to continue to function, rather than be in bed most of the day. I have read the other reviewers who have problems with the waiting, but it is worth it. Some Pain Management Doctors will to even see you if they cannot do procedures. I travel from out of state to see Dr. Lam and it is well worth it.

Very courteous service. The doctor really is helping me in my pain recovery. No other orthopedic MD was able to do that. She explains everything to me and takes time out to answer all my questions.

This dr knows what shes doing- i had to wait almost an hour to see her, but it was worth the wait. she is super smart and helped my back pain out a ton. She's the only one who knew what to do when every other doc bounced me around

Staff was rude on the telephone when I asked for directions to the office, fortunately I arrived on time and still waited an hour to be seen, only for the doctor to talk me very rudely without even introducing herself... Long story short I left without being access while the were eating for a room to become available. The patients look like their all addicted to whatever she's providing them with... I'm not interested.

This doctor has no problem prescribing pain mess at the blink of an eye.. She is more concerned about money then your health.. Trust me I seen her for 2 years from a law suit she was bills in ins and wanted to double dip moment she found out she couldn't she refused .. To treat me yep got it right refused treatment..

Dr Lam is fantastic. She helped me so much and I greatly appreciate her knowledge especially her injections were spot on. There is one girl on her staff that is so rude and has no phone manners. Kathy and Barbara are wonderful but that one girl ruins the whole office atmosphere.

I have been having bad back pain for many years, and went to many chiropractors and massage therapists to feel better, but no one helped me as much as Dr. Lam. I have been getting the shots for the pain for 6 months, and it is saving my life. Thank you for your help!

I had a very positive experience with Dr. Lam. After suffering for almost 10 years with back pain, I was referred to her by my PCP. Although the visit was brief, she was attentive, kind, and immediately knew what the best treatment was. I have been seeing her for the last 6 months, and am able to do things that I have missed for a long time- playing with my grandchildren and grocery shopping without being sore for days.
