Dr. Soghra Homafar, MD

The Doctor and staff were knowledgeble and took the time to listen and answer my questions.

I have only seen her 1 time after seeing Dr. Rossenwasser(did not like him) I am switching. She took her time explaining things to me and made me feel comfortable expressing my concerns.

Although Dr. Homafar is overall a good, caring doctor, the staff at this location are so unprofessional and do not care about the patients. I had a prescription that needed refilled, and the pharmacy called the office to get a refill approval, but no one answered their calls for a week. Finally, I had to call, and the woman who answered gave the excuse "ooohh the lady who does paperwork is on vacation, its probably sitting on her desk right now, but she wont be back for 3 more days". It made me furious that they just pushed it aside like it didn't matter (especially when BC has to be taken on a specific schedule) and that no one was there filling in for her while she was gone. I wonder how many other people didn't get their prescriptions that week. Very unprofessional and uncaring attitude.

Dr Homafar helped me deliver a perfect baby boy after 2 miscarriages. Other doctors told me I was too old to carry to term. I was 43. I got pregnant naturally and Dr. Homafar diagnosed a clotting problem. All I had to do was take folic acid and a baby asprin a day and he was born full term and 100% healthy. She is friendly caring and very competent.
