Dr. Soheil Ali Payvandi, DO

I was referred to Dr. Payvandi for a radial head fracture (elbow). I was given a splint at urgent care. The first visit with him, he said " you don't need this splint anymore, you need to start physical therapy right away". "You don't handle pain very well". He threw my splint away in the trash!!! I started physical therapy immediately (in his office). Next visit a month later, he told me I need wrist xrays (which were already done- normal). My primary care physician ordered a MRI since he wouldn't. Dr. Payvandi told me he didnt know why my PCP ordered a MRI, it wont show anything and told me that I'm not working hard enough in physical therapy. I'm DONE with this quacky guy. Go elsewhere if you can. Also, your front office girl Sydney is the rudest, get new staff!

He sucks tremendously. I had surgery on my left hand in 2015 and up to today it is still not right. I had to have a 2nd surgery on my left hand to correct the screw up that he did the first time. My orthopedic specialist who referred me to him apologized because he found out how bad he was, and will never refer anyone to Dr. Payavandi ever again. Please find somebody else before you go to him.

Beware of this doctor. Soheil A Pavandi he is a very fraudulent doctor. He concocted a false diagnosis of my injuries via my prior doctors footnotes to cover his improprieties of making a false diagnosis that led to my termination of my employment. He also lies about statements that were never made between us. He lies about activities that he thinks I did such as smoking and drinking alcohol to lesson the validity of my workers comp case with future doctors. PLEASE BEWARE OF THIS GUY..

Dr Soheil A. Payvandi enters the room, without any greetings, Dr Payvandi opens that file and says "A 48 YEAR OLD BUCK" I was totally shocked by his comment, but I contained my expressions. He turns to me and says "They told me about you" I honestly didnt understand what he were talking about, still I composed myself. Payvandi looks @ my splint and shoulder sling and says " you can just take that off and throw it in the trash, you dont need any of that anymore, you're not hurt" at this point I was not happy with his attitude or service. Payvandi takes out this pressure squeez device, tells me to squeez with both hands as he scribbled the results onto so paper. He then turns around to the computer, pulls up an EX-ray of a hand and says "Well your bones looks fine, so im going to recommend you back to full duty" At this point I were entirely confused, I says "You have'nt looked at my MRIs or my EX-rays I bought here. Dr Payvandi absolutley shocked me with his next comment, he says… "You've wasted thousands of dollars on MRIs that im not going to consider your MRIs or EX-rays, because we can't use any of your images. At this point I was pretty sure Dr Payvandi had any concerns about my injuries, but only to be the last stand to deture my claim. I then say" Until I recieve an diagnosis on my right arm, I cant go back to full duty with the increasing pain, Dr Payvandi then say " I can order you a nerve test, but it's not going to do you any good, so im recommending you back to full duty. I then say " what about my elbow, it hurts, Dr Payvandi says " I don't do elbows. At this point I was absolutely done with this guy. I says "well since you dont want to diagnose me, I'll go get an second opinion because you've done nothing for my injury, and Im not going back to full duty until something is done concerning my pain and my shoulder. Dr Payvandi then says "Im the doctor here, and I says your bones are ok and If you don't go back to work YOU'RE GOING TO BE FIRED" Dr Payvandi then says " Im done here, I cant talk to you anymore" He stood up very angrily and stomped out the room. I was like WOW!!! after sitting in the room for about 10 mins waiting for someone to tell me something, the lady whom administered my blood pressure comes into the room and says " Let me show you the exit

Had what. I thought was a simple mallett fracture... wore the splint for just short of 8 weeks as he requested. Told me to wear at night at my check up when discontinuing full wear. My finger is still bent and by end of day typing is sore and red and purple bruised looking. So i started wearing the splint during partial day and not wearing at night. I looked up on line when i didnt get the results i was expecting after wearing splint for required time. Other people with this fracture said said they had to wear much longer. Some said months. When i mentioned that to him he became a bit rude and told me i could look online or listen to him. I wasn’t questioning him, but looking online for what kind of results to expect. Weird behavior and will not go back. Maybe my finger will never be straight again... i don’t know, he advised it would when i first saw him. Said he would refer me to another doctor, and doesn’t know why still hurts, turns red or not straight. My issue… was not that serious so i wouldn’t feel comfortable taking something more serious to him. I was already scheduled to see my GP so maybe i will get another referral for 2nd opinion.

Dr. said that nothing was wrong with me when I had a serious wrist injury when I fell on my hand my wrist bent completely back and MRI revealed 4 bones broke & crushed inside of the bone. One bone fractured & reset wrong, major cartilage torn, severe unbearable pain & swelling, and he said I couldn't move my hand because I didn't want to. REALLY!!!??? He did NOT listen to me at all but was all too eager to tell me that I was fine. Can't even do normal activities because of severe pain. This is my primary hand. It's very depressing, I just want to get well and fixed!

As an Orthopedic Manual Therapist my hand and wrist have become injured through years of sports and work. The care I received was awesome.. Dr evaluated X rays and did a series of tests to evaluate pain and limits. Options of treatment plans were laid out and discussed with Surgery being the last option at this point. NOT A RUSH TO CUT!!!!!!! Conservative measure was opted for and proceeded with. His information was precise and treatment was executed with a plan to follow up. I have utmost confidence in this Doctor and have been a patient of a shoulder specialist in this group for over 30 years. Thanx for a great job.

I felt belittled and placated by this doctor. He didn't do any tests, never touched me and basically told me that I would have to live with this for the rest of my life. There was no compassion or connectiveness. I would NOT recommend this doctor to my enemt
