Dr. Soheila Lavafpour Nouri, DO

I went because she was the only one I could find accepting new patients. On the initial visit she was not friendly, and spent less than 10 minutes with me. Her two comments were, "I have to figure out how to code this so Medicare will pay for it", and "You are obese, lose weight." I weigh 160 and am 5'5". I asked for a blood panel workup, as I hadn't had one in over 10 years. During that visit, the subsequent one to have blood drawn for the test, and the third visit to "discuss" the results, she coded each visit wrong and Medicare refused to pay for anything, although I have the most expensive supplement that should have paid for it all. The "discussion" of test results was less than 5 minutes, "It looks okay, come back in a year or if you have a problem." Ten months later I am still fighting to get all of the bills covered by Medicare, since Dr. Nouri ignored all of my letters, monthly visits to her office to ask the billing staff for help, phone calls, and letters of complaint,… which I also forwarded to Medicare. Worst experience ever!!!!

I saw her for my initial visit because the doctor I signed up for with insurance was not taking anymore clients. This person spent less than seven minutes with me asking questions, did not touch me, and charged my insurance for an extended new patient visit. I saw her one more time and she was useless as far as getting my health needs met. She is very culturally (American) unaware.

Saw her three times; every visit was a waste of time, especially the last one. We accomplished nothing and she got paid from my insurance co. big time. She even refused to give me a referral for a mammogram when she knew there is a family history. Three strikes you're out in my book. I am now with another facility and I like them a lot. One star is one too many for Dr. Nouri, in my opinion.

I agree with the two other reviewers. This physician has no intention of allowing you to have a voice in your own healthcare. If you have concerns about her orders, she will literally sabotage your health and discredit you in the process. I have NEVER met anyone like her.

Never ever wish to see this so called Dr. again rude, thinks because she has Dr in front of her name you have to except eveything she says. She wanted to place my wife in nurseing home and she was very upset I did not go along with her wishes. When you are in the hospital you get stuck with any dr they throw at you. Thank God we have a wonderful primary care Dr. who really takes care of us. I had to submit a one star rating but I do not give her any stars at all.

Would never recommend this doctor. She is rude and places her ego before the care of her patients. She is not only unpleasant with patients but also staff. She recommends sedation of patients over having family members caring for them when they are in the hospital. She tries to overide the patient's specialists orders. Stay away from this one!
