Dr. Sok Hwan Nam, MD

This quack (Nam Sok Han) needs to be jailed. He messed up my mothers eye in 2021. He “worked on” my mom’s healthy left eye and didn’t even bother to address her degenerating eye on the right side. He insisted this was the way to go and told us the right eye “can wait” a few years. She woke up from the surgery and couldn’t see. She freaked out and went to another doctor who had to perform an emergency eye surgery on the right eye (Dr. Kim Han Suk on Serrano) and he said the right eye was not addressed for too long and it got degenerated even more.. she now cannot see properly with both eyes esp the right but Dr. Kim did his best to save and damage control what he could. I’m writing this finally because I feel there are way more elderly victims out there who cannot speak out due to their limited scope in language. But Nam Sok Han and his practice needs to be sued and he needs his license revoked! YOURE RUINING LIVES! ESPECIALLY ELDERS, YOU FRAUD!!!

Obnoxious experience. Less than 10 seconds diagnoses. He does not care patient's pain.

He's a good doctor. I've been with him for more than 4 years and I am very satisfied with his treatment. I was off his care for sometime due to shift in insurance, but went back to him because in the other clinic I went to, only assistants attended to me. With Dr. Nam my questions are answered in a manner that is understandable to lay people like me. He allays any fears I might have of my eye conditions-i.e., cataract surgery (in the past), and pre-glaucoma. I'm also satisfied with his staff- the employees are courteous and helpful. Dr. Nam deserves a rating of 5/5.
