Dr. Sonal M Subbu, MD

Dr. Subbu has great bedside manners and really took her time examining our child and explaining what should happen next. My wife and I feel very comfortable having decided to switch from previous doctor to her. As far as negative comments from other reviews on some of the staff at the office..I have not seen it, they are always polite and professional to us, I believe those comments are from folks who might at times feel frustrated as we parents always tend to feel when we are worried about our children for something that is going on and we do not have control of, many times we tend to take it on to the staff because we tend believe they are not doing their job the way they are supposed to, just remember one thing, those people behind the desk are human too and if you start to treat someone rude without you realizing it because you're frustrated at the moment, they might start treating you the same and unfortunately you'll notice it right away before you notice you started treating… them that way first. Think about it before leaving negative feedback

Dr. Subbu is a great doctor. She is very attentive and considerate. She makes your child and you feel so comfortable and at ease. She always makes sure you are well-versed. However, Alisha her front desk clerk is so unprofessional , insolent, and rude. Alisha always seems annoyed by your presence and makes you feel like you are troublesomeness. She is short and patronizing especially toward men. She is so arrogant she can't even greet people properly. When you bring her inexcusable attitude up to the office manager she faults you or blames the situation instead of disciplining or retraining Alisa. Alisha has been there for years and many people I know canâ??t stand her and they dreaded confronting her. She is the #1 reason given why the quit going to Dr. Subbu for care.

She is never there!! The billing department is rude and don't know how to explain any billing issues.. Will be looking for another doctor!!!

She is impossible to see when the child is sick, he office staff is rude and unprofessional, the office is not equipped well enough .

My first visit was wonderful. Staff was able to get my 10mth baby in same day. Wait wasn't long and Dr. Subbu had excellent bedside manner. Several mths later it took a month to get my son's 1 yr checkup. Then my son got sick and I tried to get an appt and they told me they could squeeze me in in a week!! I had just taken him to the ER and she was never avaliable! I really like Dr. Subbu but I need to be able to have a doctor that is reliable when needed.

She's one of the best Doctors in Yuma. My husband and I are glad our daughters go to her. Shes very understanding and relates well!

If you want someone who cares, thoughtful, great with kids and overall a great doctor...Dr. Subbu is the best! I wouldn't take my kids anywhere else!

It's funny that someone wrote that Dr. Subbu does not touch kids because that is actually why I love her. She is my only son's doctor and she takes her time to talk to me and play with him. She even taught me how to breastfeed my baby. No other Dr. would ever do that.

She was always very attentive to my concerns for my son. I never really had an issue that needed to be resolved though so I can't comment on that. Overall, she was pretty good. It's too bad she had complications with her pregnancy & had to stop seeing patients...I wonder if she's back.
