Summary
I was born and raised in India. I came to the United States in 1974. I completed my training in child and adolescent psychiatry at the Johns Hopkins University in Baltimore, and I worked there as a staff member before moving to California in 1986. I joined UC San Diego as a faculty member at the department of child psychiatry for four years, before joining Kaiser Permanente Medical Group in 1990.
