Dr. Sondra Sturim, MD

Dr. Sturim goes above & beyond for each & every single patient she sees! Her bedside manner is incredible & she truly has “found her calling”! I didn’t have the best pregnancies BUT she ALWAYS made sure that all of the questions that my husband & I asked her were answered & that we felt @ ease. We feel very lucky to have had someone like her help to bring our children into this world ! There’s NO other Dr like her .... esp in this field where we as women want to feel comfortable & in good hands !~ AW~

The doctor is OK but her stuff who deals with insurance is the worst I have ever met! She made such a mess with my insurance and made me so stressed that I am scared for mu valuable pregnancy! Never going back there after clearing the mess her finance personal made! Horrible!

Working with her and her office has been a HORRIFIC experience for my wife and I. My wife and I are having our first child and decided to try to work with Doctor Sturim as our OBGYN for this tremendous occasion in our lives. After weeks of waiting for an appointment we finally get seen by the doctor to find out my wife has a Fibriod the size of a small melon in her which was causing her extreme discomfort. Due to my wife’s small stature we were nervous that the size of the fibroid might cause issues with the baby’s growth and developement. We had to get another technician in another office to do the sonogram because their office couldn’t even see the full size of it. After getting the results of the second sonogram we were unable to see the doctor and getting no response to when we would be able to even speak with her about the options and affects of this on our baby. My wife developed extreme pains to the point where we were calling every day to get answers and nothing. I ended up… having to take my wife to the emergency room to have them see her for the pain she was experiencing. She couldnt eat, sleep and could barely walk. The doctors at the hospital released her the next day with concerns about the size of the fibroid and the baby and gave us specific directions to see our OBGYN before the week was over. When calling to schedule an appointment they refused to give us an appointment and said the doctor isn’t in and there isn’t any interim doctor either. They continued to down play our situation and wouldn’t schedule an appointment until the following week. Please understand. This is our first pregnancy. We are scared. We are getting no answers and we just want to talk to our doctor about our options and what the risks are and what this means for our unborn baby. After trying to explain to the office the situation they refused to help us and the front desk personnel hung up the phone on us. That was the final straw. We decided this isn’t the experience and relationship we want to have with our doctor and decided to go to someone else. To anyone looking for a Doctor. I suggest you make sure they have the time to see you and will be there to answer your questions and concerns in advance. This wasn’t the person for us. Terrible experience. Not at all what we expected. My wife cried on the phone after speaking with their office.

Does not call patients back,does not share information with your other doctors in a timely manner. Belittling when you ask questions.

I am very pleased with Dr. Sondra Sturim. She has helped me with my issue. She held my hands in the OR and I thought that was thoughtful and kind. She is an expert in her field. I am happy to share my experience to other women who may be looking for a good Doctor.

Dr. Sturim is my current OB, and so far so good. I find her staff to be very professional and friendly, and the wait time is reasonable.

Dr. Sturim is a caring physician who takes time with all of her patients....and their families when necessary. I have been her patient for over 18 years and have had two outpatient surgeries with her. I have referred over 30 women to Dr. Sturim and ALL OF THEM are still her patients. Her support staff is wonderful as well. There are always RN's on duty to answer questions over the phone. Cloth gowns are a definite plus!

I have been seeing Dr. Sturim as long as she has been a doctor. She delivered my son 15 years ago and my daughter 9 years ago. Any issue or concern I have ever had has been handled with love, kindness and professionalism. She is a rare breed of doctor these days and I am happy to have had her during the happiest and not so happy moments of my life. She has since delivered my niece and nephew, and we all love her!

I have been using Dr Sturim for many years. I used to go after work but would wait a minimum of 45 minutes. Well the last time i took a night appointment I was waiting 1.5 hours! I then switched to her first morning appointment and am usually seen withing 20-30 minutes. In my opinion, that is a long wait when i am the first patient there...i can now understand why she would run so late by the evening appointments. However, I really like her so i continue to go back

clean & patient-friendly office. Nice staff.I loved the fact that the doctor had an actual office, and not just the examining room, so we did get to sit down and discuss my issues. Between my work hours, and the doctor not in the office everyday of the week, it's hard to get an appointment. Then, more than twice I was the first appointment and doctor came in late which in turn made me xtremely late for work. So between finding a right time for me to see the doctor, and when i do, for her to come in late, i had no choice but to switch OBGYN.
