Dr. Song Zang, MD

Please avoid this Doctor. Beyond rude, abusive, liar with no compassion whatsoever!! I was referred to dr zang to help get my inflammatory markers down from my connective tissue disorder. This appt and Dr was so horrible that he NEVER even knew or looked at my charts to see my diagnosis. He looked at a 5 year old ER visit report and used that to belittle me. Would not allow me to speak at all and even told me to stop talking several times and continously stated "I'm the only right doctor in this whole area". I was never even offered an exam or blood work. He threw away my updated paperwork in front of me. Told me my other doctors can't and won't help me cause "women think they have pain when it's just stress from being a mom". I wasn't allowed to speak the whole appt. Then tried telling me fibromyalgia is all us womens have and just deal with it. I don't even have fibromyalgia symptoms. This is Medical gaslighting and it's disgusting. This medical office is beyond filthy too. I began… bawling to the point I was left on the bathroom floor vomiting for over 30 mins and then barely walked myself out. The whole time dr zang and his worthless staff just stood their watching me fall and stumble into the bathroom while holding vomit back. They literally laughed at me too. Im already on my last edge and this guy definitely wanted to help push me over it. This guy should not be allowed to have any patients. I feel seriously sorry for his patients, especially if their women.

I rarely leave reviews, but I wanted to share my experience with Dr Zang for others looking for a good Rheumatologist. I was diagnosed with Psoriasis and Fibromyalgia last year by Dr Zang. My diagnosis came with a lot of physical pain, depression and anxiety. Once diagnosed, he started me on the right medications that helped end a terrible flare that I was in. After every visit he would ask me if I have his number and to text him if I need anything. I have reached out to Dr Zang several times by text when I have needed him and he always gets back to me in a timely manner and if I need to be seen he doesn’t make me call and make an appointment, he tells me to come on up and he fits me in his schedule. I have never had to wait long to see him. Not only is he knowledgeable and efficient at his job, but he also shows genuine concern for my well-being. He listens and takes the time to explain things and shows compassion towards his patients. I’m thankful to have Dr Zang as my… Rheumatologist and I highly recommend him. "

Dr.Song Zang is the kindest and most compassionate doctor I've seen in a long time. He is very patient and always takes the time to listen as well as being knowledgeable. My symptoms have been puzzling to a lot of doctors, but Dr. Zang is solving the puzzle. He is not like a lot of modern doctors who rush you through appointments and are distant. Dr. Zang truly cares and and it really shows. He's a great doctor and I'm glad to have found him!

I was referred to Dr. Zang by my PCP to check for arthritis. Dr. Zang was on time for my appointment, he examined me and answered all questions that I had. He printed off some stretches for me to do to regain mobility and asked if I was able to afford the medication he prescribed. I thought this was very thoughtful as some people are too embarrassed to bring that up to their provider. He did not rush me and was very professional. I would recommend him to others.

I just wanna say dr zang is always kind understanding polite to my feelings and he listens to me and never judges me.. I want to thank him and his nurses..!! And I never wait long to be seen.. couldnt ask for a better Doctor, and nurses .. thank you much..

Dr. Zang is one of the kindest practitioner's I've met. He is gentle both with his words and with his touch, and he takes time to listen. I had an issue that I thought I would likely have to schedule an appointment for a week or so later, and to my delight Dr. Zang was perfectly happy to see me that afternoon! He was there during a terribly tough flare at the onset of my condition and was helpful and willing to sift through the symptoms to find a diagnosis and plan. I have a condition that is not curable but is treatable, and I would not want any other Rheumy fighting in my corner for me and helping me live better.

I am patient of DR Dykman for years who took time with his patients and very thorough. This was my first visit and he spent less than a few minutes with me. I told him I’ve had 2 knee replacements, shoulder replacement, and recent back surgery due to Osteoarthritis. My left shouldef now giving me trouble. He didn’t look at any of it. Ask me if I’m on pain pills. Wrote a prescription and printed off an exercise routine. No eye contact. No sit down and talk. No questions about my physical issues. Sent me out the door with $90 bill. Will look for another physican

I saw this “doctor” after being referred from my primary care office for abnormal ana value. He does not make eye contact and his so called exam was a joke. I’ve seen more thorough exams by first year students. The best part was when he tried to explain a ball and socket joint to me knowing that I had been a physical therapist for over 20 years. He scurried out of the room and googled some info about a vague hip pathology and told me to read it later. But he assured me I didn’t have lupus without running any additional blood work etc. How this guy has a valid medical license is beyond me. This visit was a total waste of my time, and honestly an embarrassment to the American healthcare system.

Dr. Zang has shown great compassion and understanding with me as a patient! He sees me as an individual and is working with me on my health plan! I was nervous to have a new doctor but I’m more then pleasantly surprised! Thank you so much for caring dr. Zang and staff!! He has a lot of people to see and it’s okay to have a short but efficient and nice appt! Michelle N

He took absolutely no time to hear anything about me, and in 2 minutes decided I had tennis elbow and runners knee. He says he wasn’t sure about my other joints. He told me he was an expert, and nothing is wrong with me. Never mind the fact that I have pain in joints across my entire body and some days get so stiff I cannot walk (at age 38). He did not care at all, printed me info on tennis elbow and sent me out the door. Absolutely wasted trip. He’s AWFUL!
