Dr. Sonia Kapoor, MD

This has been the worst experience that I have ever had with a doctor. I recently lost my mother to cancer and have been dealing with the greif that comes along with that. I asked her if I could have FMLA paperwork sent to her in case my emotions were too strong and I needed to take off. I also expressed my issues with anxiety and recent issues with depression. I am on medication for these issues. She told me to have FMLA paperwork sent and she would fill it out. I waited for two weeks before I called back to see why the paperwork had not been filled out. According to the office, they had not gotten the paperwork so I had it faxed again. Then Dr. Kapoor had the receptionist call me and ask me what the FMLA was for, to which I explained. I also explained that the paperwork needed to be faxed ASAP so the claim would not close. Two days later I called to see if the paperwork had been faxed or if I needed to come and fill something out. The Dr acted confused and asked me to come in. When… I came in she treated me lower than low and told me she could not fill out the paperwork because I hadn't been her patient long enough. She quickly dismissed me. Now my job as well as the company addressing my FMLA is in limbo. Before I left I told her that she should have told me that she could have told me upfront that she didn't want to fill out the paperwork rather than putting me through the run around. That is my last visit.

Been seeing this doctor for 3 yrs but she never help me with all my needs. I've seen 3 doctors fr this office when Dr Kapoor was not around and i got accurate diagnosis from them and even ordered tests for further analysis of my pains. All Kapoor did was just give medicine. Her stethoscope didn't even touch my body. I've wasted my time and Tricare's money seeing this doctor.

Dr. Kapoor has been our family doctor for 8-9 years. We have seen many doctors in the past since we are a military family and she is the one I trust the most. She is very knowledgable, caring and professional.

I had a problem that I was suffering with for many years and taking meds for it but nothing seemed to help. Then my friend mentioned how great her doctor was and I should go see her. I was the best decision. Now many of my family, friends and coworkers now see her and feel the same. A wonderful doctor and person.

Dr. Kapoor is now practicing in Chesapeake, VA. She is a very very good Doctor
