Dr. Soo Mee Pak, MD

Dr Pak has given me a new lease on life! I knew my eyesight had changed over the years but until my eye exam with Dr Pak I had no idea how much. Naturally I was nervous at the thought of eye surgery, but she and her staff gave me the reassurances I needed to move ahead and I'm so glad I did! Bennie helped me with all my medical paperwork and the onsite optician, Tony, helped me transition from glasses during the process. Once I had my right eye fixed I would have gladly let her do my left eye the next day!! The difference in my vision between the fixed right eye and my soon to be fixed left eye allowed me to see just how profound an impact cataracts had on my vision. The procedure itself was around 15 min. and there was no pain whatsoever. Now with both eyes done I see can the world clearly. I am grateful to Dr Pak and her entire staff for making this transition an easy one!

Curt, rushed, borderline rude and unprofessional. Don’t go here if you want anything resembling an adequate examination. The billing process was anything but pleasant.

Dr. Soo Mee Pac is so bad! What she does is she double books and now that she has her own practice in a new location and it's only her name on the door she double books and when she came to see me was like she wanted to rush and she came back to the room and she was like going so fast and she just wanted to get out of there so when I was asking a question she was like so you want to do this or not and I kept on asking a question so you want to do this or not she says while looking straight ahead and not looking at me and like she wanted to have it out of that room she did not want to be there but she had another patient in the other room to get back to so she's not really paying attention to what she's doing with you she can't wait to go back to the other room to where she was with the other patient she had I think she had about two other patients besides me And the office staff is very nasty and rude! And the doctor while she's not a nice person either and when people can't think… for themselves they will follow the leader of the pack so to speak because the doctor sets the tone of the office! That's what the office staff did their very nasty unfriendly very rude every single person there and they would say nonsense of ridiculous things to me and I can't believe that I'm the only one that they do that with look at all the reviews about her on Yelp you will see!

Staff was very nasty. They would not take one of my insurance cards. They said it was for glasses. when it is for a routine exam and glasses. I told them that my husband has Medicare, his payment should be 16.69. They said no $25.00. I left with only paying 1 copayment.

Well run office, pleasant and efficient staff. Dr Pak explained the diagnosis and procedure to me.

I needed to find a new local eye doctor for basic eye exams due to insurance coverage changes, and ended up going here. I assume she can diagnose a vision issue, but any eye doctor can. Dr. Pak has zero personality typifies the phrase "treating patients like a number". My total time in her office which included 2 minutes of banter while the receptionist prepared my clipboard of new patient paperwork, completing the paperwork, and eye exam was a grand total of 11 minutes from start to finish. She didn't introduce herself, asked me zero questions outside of "which is clearer - this or that?", and was in an obvious rush to get me out of there. When she was finished with her 3 minute exam, she simply left the room. Needless to say, I won't be returning.

It's really very simple. I went to her office for my yearly eye exam. This also involved a procedure that looked within the eye to detect any early signs of macular degeneration. Medically, I suppose that that all of this was done appropriately, albeit without any great charm or humor or even a modicum, of caring. However, my main complaint is that I was charged a $20.00 copay for the visit and another $20.00 copay for the aforementioned procedure, a total of $40.00. Today I got my statement from my secondary insurance which was calculated after my primary's was. It shows that I should have only been billed a total of $29.55 for both procedures after the appropriate insurance deductions. In other words, I was overcharged by more than $10.00. This is , to say the least, highly unprofessional. I intend to report this to the insurance company.

I've been seeing Dr. Pak twice a year for about 12 years. I have diabetes, so she does a complete medical exam as well as an optical exam. I find her to be extremely professional and down to earth in her explanations. She spends just the right amount of time with me to make sure I know what's going on and answer my questions. I think some people need to take a step back and realize your doctor is not your friend. They are not there to talk about family and share your kids' pictures. Their job is to professionally examine, diagnose and treat their patients in a professional manner. In my humble opinion Dr. Pak does these things as well as anybody.

Dr. Pak is not friendly at all and she doesn't give you any time. Just does the routine work and gets out. The office girls and the glasses guy were nice.

I have been a patent of Dr.Pak for over 15 years, she has always been very caring and it is only because of her treatment I have avoided being blind, I see her regularly and have been treated by her staff with kindness and compassion
