Dr. Soordal Oum Prakash, MD

EXCELLENT physician,Great bedside manner.

Dr. Soordal Prakash was my attending physician at Complex Care last year. I was very fortunate to have him. He came to see me regularly to keep me up to date on my condition. He has a wonderful bedside manner, is kind, gentle and compassionate. He is extremely knowledgeable having been a former surgeon, which was important to my case. In addition, he allowed my husband to sit in on weekly meetings with all of my other doctors so he would remain up to date on my status. I have chosen him as my Primary Care Physician because I know he will continue to help me with my postsurgical questions and has recommended a surgeon to perform another operation I must have. I highly recommend Dr. Prakash!

Both doctors are wonderful, I highly recommend. Dr. Prakash is so knowledgable...if he doesn't know the answer to a question, he'll promptly look it up and go over the information with me. I have always felt listened to and am appreciative of the time and care he spends with his patients. The doctors have so much clinical experience (surgery, geriatrics) outside of primary care, so their advice and expertise are always comprehensive.

The doctor might be good but his office staff is so inferior it makes one question his judgement

The doctor is wonderful but have been embroiled in a disput with office staff handling billing who have lied to us about our insurance coverage. We have proof that the insurance paid bill, the mount that was paid, and the date it was cleared but the office staff deny it all. Think there might be some embezzlement and feel sorry for doctor as how many other patients are being as harassed as we are or are they double paying. Have spoken to Medical billing company in Maine who handles this office and they told us it is the doctor's staff who handle this so once again it is either their ineptness or someone's greed. Sadly it is the doctor's and our reputations that will suffer.

I am 80 yrs. old and had my share of procedures and Doctors both here in Sarasota and in Southern California. Never have I had a more caring and professional physician than Dr. Prakash. He has seen me in the hospital after regular hours and in his office. He is very knowledgeable and genuinely cares for his patients. I highly recommend him for your medical needs!

I seen him today and it was the worse experience I have ever had with a doctor. I went to him for a referall for pain management and for help with some breathing problems I have been having and he kicked me out of the office for no reason. I have never been so insulted in my life. Not only did I not get a referall he complenty ignored my request for a inhaler. Please go somewhere else if you want a doctor that cares because he surely doesn't.
