Interrupted me the entire time I tried to explain my symptoms. Never even explained the condition she diagnosed me with. Then told me to get a second opinion when I asked questions to understand it. Extremely rude. If I could give no stars I would.

I do NOT recommend . DR Sophia is more concerned with her computer tablet and how she can rack up charges to bill you for than looking at the patient as a person in need of a doctors advice, correct medications and general help. Plus the billing personnel have used the wrong billing codes on several occasions and failed to submit to my insurance company costing me several thousands of dollars (over $3000 <> for a blood panel) and have now LOST ALL MY MEDICAL RECORDS!! Beware!! the staff is highly incompetent!!!!!

I have been going to doctor Sophia for several years now. And have had nothing but trouble with her staff. I have back issues and had to call three days in a row to get someone to call me back for an appointment. Now I'm experiencing the same issues and she refuses to give me medication without coming in to see her even though I cannot walk. I was told if I didn't like it to find another doctor. This was told by the receptionist. I was also told by the receptionist that if I'm in that much pain to go to the emergency room. My emergency room fee is $450. An emergency room is only going to give me muscle relaxers which I already have. This is the last straw for me and I will be finding another doctor. I thought doctors took an oath to care for people. Unfortunately so many of them only care about the money.

Anyone who has met this physician would know she does not give out pain meds she will send to pain management but that is as close to pain meds as you will get

This doctor put on pain prescription medicine and after a year I asked for the prescription to be elevated. She decided to try a different medication along with the pain prescription. After a month on the new meds it was obvious that it wasn't going to work, so I had to ask for my prescription 2 days early. Her office informed me that I had to make an appointment, as I was out of this medication, which would be a month later. Meanwhile this doctor had me addicted to a pain prescription for over a year and had given me my prescription every month . She then would not give me my prescription. Instead I had make an appointment. I have since started another doctor and yes I did suffer through withdrawals and have to go to the E.R. I actually studied the medical field in school and I understand that doctors have to practice medicine but as far as I'm concerned they can practice on someone else because I was mistreated and for whatever reason I have no idea but I have never given anyone a… reason other than taking my prescription every day regularly to have taken away my prescription.

I went to Dr. Sophia for sometime. I stopped going because I felt like I was only going to get the same prescription filled and not getting any other help for symptoms I was and am still having. I tried discussing things with her numerous times only to leave her office feeling like none of my questions had been answered. It was as if she didn't have an answer so she just let it go.There was no "well let's check into this" nor any "well let's try this". The last time I went to her I tried discussing again some issues I have been having, she asked me a few questions, I answered them, and then it was as if she didn't have a clue what could be causing my problems so it was as if the whole conversation was swept under the carpet like we never even had it.I felt like she either just truly didn't care or that she thought i was just making it up.The visit ended with me having answered her last question, her giving me my prescription, her telling me when to come back and that was it. Not even… a mention from her of what the problem could be. I never went back. Also, while in the waiting room, I heard another patient ask one of the receptionists if they call to remind people of their appointments and she said, "yes, we always call". He said he hadn't received a call and I know I never once received an "appointment reminder" call either.I don't like to complain but I like any other person who is having a health issue, was hoping to have found a doctor who could help however I unfortunately did not find that doctor in Dr. Sophia. Just my experience with her.

My husband and I selected Dr. Sophia as our family doctor and we am very happy we did. She is plain-spoken, forthright, very caring, as well as very thorough and knowledgeable. The office wait time to see her is usually no more than 5 or 10 minutes and making an appointment has not been a problem. She takes her time with me and makes sure all my questions are answered and my concerns are met. Her office staff is both friendly and competent. She has been more thorough to resolve some health issues with me than my prevous physician. I am very comfortable with her and am very happy we made the switch.
