Dr. Sravanthi Kubireddi

Dr. Sravanthi Kubireddi’s failure to provide appropriate medical evaluation and escalation of care has had life-altering consequences for me. In August 2025, I experienced a serious fall that resulted in immediate and profound functional impairment. I could not walk normally and presented for medical care wearing an ACL brace, compression wrap, and using crutches. I knew something was seriously wrong. I was not asking for reassurance — I was asking for help. After an initial ER visit that did not identify the cause of my symptoms, I was referred to Dr. Kubireddi as the first available primary care physician to coordinate further evaluation, including advanced imaging. Despite my inability to ambulate normally, visible use of assistive devices, and persistent pain, Dr. Kubireddi declined to order any imaging studies, including MRI. No diagnosis was made. No differential was meaningfully discussed. Even more concerning, my request for formal physical therapy was denied. Instead, I was… instructed to perform unsupervised home exercises. These exercises later were explicitly identified by sports medicine physicians and orthopedic surgeons as inappropriate for my underlying injury and likely to have worsened my condition. I was told, in essence, that I was “fine” and advised to return to running — despite the fact that I could not walk without assistance. Because my symptoms persisted and worsened, I was forced to bypass Dr. Kubireddi entirely and seek care through a nurse practitioner, who immediately recognized the need for imaging and ordered MRIs. Those MRIs revealed a significant meniscal injury that had gone undiagnosed and untreated for months. Since that delay, I have required invasive surgical intervention, including a meniscectomy, and now face a future involving a lateral meniscus transplant, possible additional surgeries, and early degenerative joint disease. Multiple orthopedic specialists have confirmed that earlier diagnosis and appropriate management could have altered the course of my injury. This is not a difference of medical opinion. This is a failure to meet the most basic standard of care: when a patient presents unable to walk, using braces and crutches, persistent pain after trauma warrants imaging and referral — not dismissal. What is most troubling is that I repeatedly advocated for myself and was repeatedly shut down. No referrals. No imaging. No escalation. Just reassurance — which turned out to be profoundly wrong. I am now dealing with permanent limitations at a young age, not because my injury was unavoidable, but because my symptoms were not taken seriously at a critical moment. Patients deserve to be listened to, especially when their bodies are clearly telling a different story. Based on my experience, I cannot recommend Dr. Kubireddi to anyone seeking thorough, patient-centered, or proactive medical care.
