He was pretty abrupt. Not very personable.

This is the 2nd time I have seen Dr. Gopi for one of my children at the 52nd Essentia Health walk in. Both times I was impressed not only with the compassionate and calm way he interacted with my young children, that immediately put them at ease, but also with how he communicated with me. He helped to answer my questions and ease my worry (what mother doesn't worry when her child is ill?) WITHOUT coming off as insensitive or condescending which often happens inadvertently with providers and parents. He also took the time to visit with me about my family and treat us as individuals rather than just another patient to treat before moving on to another. He also was very thorough in his examinations of my girls. I am a nurse and sometimes judge providers more harshly than I should. My only complaint is that he is a walk in provider and thus cannot be my children's primary provider!! All doctors should be like Dr. Gopi.
