Dr. Srikanth Katragadda, MD

He is really a good doctor. He is very confident and listens you very patiently. I remember, once I called him for the same day appointment, despite being full, he managed to schedule my appointment on the same day.

He had been my doctor for almost 7 years, I developed a great doctor-patient relationship with him. He had been very much approachable and had accommodated my appointment request sometime on urgent basis. He is pretty knowledgeable in his area and highly active.

I do not recommend Dr. Katragadda. For starters, he spent only a few minutes on the initial appointment, clearly not enough time to establish any kind of baseline for care. Over the course of regular visits, he couldn't be bothered to answer my questions, demonstrated no interest in the patient being involved in one's care, tried to prescribe medication for a condition I did not have, and wanted me to have surgery that was in no way necessary or indicated by my health. I began to think that he was only interested in racking up billables. Find someone else.

I went to see Dr. Katragadda a month or so ago. I was a first time patient at McFarland Clinic and my experience with him will make me hesitant to return. He spent less than a minute in the room with me, ignored the pain I was clearly in, and told me I was fine. I had to stop him on his way out the door to ask him to do a bacterial test, which he seemed reluctant to do. He seemed to have no concern for the patient in front of him and was more focused on getting me out the door. Would not reccomend him and will never see him again.

I would definitely recommend him.
