Dr. Stacey Gengel, PhD

I went to see this doctor to talk about very personal struggles in my life with Autism and Obsessive Compulsive Disorder and was spoken to in a very rude and discourteous manner. Dr. Gengel was judgmental and almost threatening in the way she responded to me so I left early. Would not recommend.

Dr. Stacey helped me during a very difficult time in my life. She helped me manage my anxiety and gave me tools that I can use for the rest of my life. She listened when no one else would.

I cannot say enough good things about Dr. Gengel. She is smart, kind, flexible, accessible, practical, logical, and caring. She has been helping us and our son for several years and I always learn something new when we meet. She is the best psychologist I have ever encountered and I recommend her highly!!

Both my teenagers have seen Dr Gengel intermitantly over the past 5 years. She has been caring and compassionate, and has really helped them work through their problems. Prior to meeting with my kids, Dr Gengel met with me and listened to my concerns about the kids. Dr Gengel has been an invaluable resource for my children and I recommend her without hesitation--I don't think we could have survived the teenage years without her!!

She briefly treated my teenage child. Horrible experience with her. I have been to several therapist in the past with only good experiences. She condones drug use in young teenagers (13 years old) & said "they all do it". Treated me like I had a problem worrying about my child. Stay away from this therapist!
