Dr. Stacy Eileen Ong, MD

I went to the ER at St. David's South Medical Center due to severe pain from a kidney stone, where Dr. Stacy Ong was assigned as my urologist. Over the course of four weeks of treatment, I found Dr. Ong's communication to be poor, her manner dismissive, and her overall attitude as though she would rather be elsewhere. When I asked questions to better understand my recovery and the procedures she scheduled, her responses were often short, evasive, and unhelpful. At no point did I feel fully informed or supported in making important decisions about my care. It appeared that Dr. Ong was following her own agenda rather than addressing my concerns. Based on this horrible experience, I will not seek care from Dr. Ong in the future.

Worst doctor visit. She was rude beyond belief.

Snippy, rude, negative. Uses archaic testing methods which left me in severe pain. Horrible doctor. Worst doctor visit ever.

Awful attitude, extremely judgemental

This woman was rude, arrogant--just plain disgusting. I took my wife, who has Normal Pressure Hydrocephalous, to this woman. I explained that as far as I could determine, my wife had never been seen by a Urologist, but was taking Tolterodine. I went on to explain I had been researching incontinence on the WebMD--she cut me off to tell me, "that was your first mistake"--(It was all I could do not to thrown her out of her own office). Ong then went on to say that my wife's mental condition was the cause of her incontinence BEFORE SHE EXAMENED HER. I asked her if Tolterodine was the right medicine for my wife and this so-called MD, told me, in front of my wife mind you, that Tolterodine made my wife even more crazy and I should take her off of it. I asked about a replacement and she told me just to take her off of it and never replied to my question. The doc was done and I asked her if she was going to test for an infection (Darn that WebMD). Ong became a little agitated (A… little too much Tolterodine, perhaps?), but told her two nurses to get a sample. I won't swear to it, but I strongly believe I told Ong that my wife's urine smelt to high heavens when we started the examination. They called me one or two day later and told me her test was negative, but her urine still smelled like a Men's Room on the waterfront after the 7th. Fleet had been in the dump all night. 16-days later my wife passed oiut in a parking lot and took me to the deck with her. She then spent 6-days being treated for a, "raging Urinary Tract Infection", at St. David's, Georgetown. She rates NO star, but ya gotta rate them something.

The most professional doctor that I have ever met.

This was the single most awful experience I have ever had in a Dr's office. Dr. Ung and her staff demonstrated the most unprofessional , rude and disgusting behavior. This is my first visit to this office and after discussing my symptoms and past history with the dr she proceeded to discuss what we talked about to her staff but in an unprofessional manner. The desk girls were laughing and making jokes about our discussion. I'm sitting in a room with the door closed and can hear every word they are saying so I made it known I could here them speaking about me because I was mortified and extremely upset by what was being said. I have never in my life experienced such a vulgar display of unprofessionalism. DO NOT COME HERE UNLESS YOU ENJOY BEING TALKED ABOUT UNPROFESSIONALLY AND MADE FUN OF FOR BEING SICK.
