Dr. Stanley Alfred Sheft, MD

I initially visited Dr. Sheft 14 years ago with a pain in my ear. I had brought my medical files with me and for the first time, a physician took their time to review my entire file and discuss my history in detail. During his review of my files he noticed an MRI report from a 2 years earlier which showed a nodule on my thyroid. I informed him that my primary care physician is aware of it for the past 2 years and my primary care physician assured me it was nothing to be concerned about since it is most likely not cancerous. Dr. Sheft did not agree with my primary care physician's diagnosis and convinced me to have it checked. He scheduled me for an ultrasound and discovered that the nodule grew over 120% in 2 years. He ordered a biopsy and confirmed that it was a form of cancer called papillary carcinoma. I proceeded to have a surgery to have my thyroid completely removed and have been cancer free for 13 years now I will always be grateful to Dr. Sheft for his genuine… care, thoroughness, thoughtfulness and professionalism. He took his time and got it right and I'm cured because of him. May god bless and protect him and his family.

He took advantage of me and my parents and ruined top and bottom molars by drilling out healthy teeth and putting in amalgam fillings .these were my permanent healthy teeth that had come in about 2years before and were completely drilled out and filled needlessly.

Dr. Sheft is the consumate professional. He has encyclopedic knowledge, patiently conveys it to one in understandable terms (providing sources if one wants more info!). He is thorough and efficient, respectful of one's time and clearly wants to remedy the patients' concerns. My experience with him through surgery could not have been better and prognosis is excellent. I am appreciative of his good care and talent.
