We are unbelievably grateful to Dr. Stanley Tam for the exceptional care he provided to my cousin during her cardiac surgery. His dedication, empathy, and personal attention went far beyond our expectations. Dr. Tam shared his direct cell phone number with us and even took the time, after a long day in the operating room, to call personally and address our concerns — a gesture that spoke volumes about his compassion and commitment. From the very first consultation, Dr. Tam demonstrated not only remarkable surgical expertise but also genuine kindness, patience, and attentiveness. Every step of the process was clearly explained, every question thoughtfully answered, and every detail handled with the utmost professionalism and warmth. Thanks to Dr. Tam and his outstanding team, my cousin truly was in the best possible hands. We gladly drove over an hour to ensure she received the highest level of care, and it was absolutely worth it. I met Dr Tam at St Elizabeth's aka Boston medical Brighton. I had been transferred because I require bypass surgery. First impression is he is dedicated to his profession. When I arrived it was late Thursday evening and would have to wait until Monday or Tuesday before the procedure would happen. So every morning he would check in an let me know what was going on even over the weekend. So finally I was scheduled for Tuesday morning, first surgery of the day. It was hectic and the next thing I know I was waking up in the icu. He and the Surgical team had completed a quintuple bypass and it was successful. Very impressed.

I have never had Dr. Tam as a surgeon, but several of my patients on the sub- acute rehab wing have and have nothing but the best experiences and outcomes.

Dr. Tam performed a quadruple bypass procedure on me two years ago. The results could not have been better. I recovered without incident in the minimally expected time and have felt great since the surgery. But equally important on my first visit with Dr. Tam after my diagnosis he recognized my understandable anxiety and concerns and immediately spoke to me in such a way that I left his office reassured and convinced that I was in good hands and I needn't worry. Dr. Tam's surgical skills are excellent, but his understanding the need to reassure patients prior to their surgery and put their mind at ease is equally important. Not all surgeons have this important skill.

Dr. Tam and his staff did an excellent job regarding my Open Heart Surgery this past March. He is the best.

Simply the best.

Perhaps he is not the most personable man you will ever meet.but make no mistake, he is good at his job. The fact that I am here to write this review is proof of this. I have a profound respect for the attention to detail that he gave to my case. He may not be they type of man I want to have a beer with, but I would gladly buy him a drink!
