Dr. Stanton Bennion Mcdonald, MD

As a new patient and the first appointment of the day I waited and listened to Dr McDonald talk to his employees for 40 minutes about the new building they are moving into and if they wanted drawers or shelves. He finally came in without any sort of apology for my wait. I arrived at 8:55 for a 9 am appointment. He finally came into the exam room at 9:50 (after being told he wasn’t even in the office yet) and I was seen by him for less than 10 minutes. Would not recommend and will not be returning.

I've been seeing him for about a year and a few months, I presume. I don't understand why someone would give him 1 star. They must have been the issue, not the doctor. If you've ever seen Dr McDonald, you know he's got this calm, cool demeanor about him. He is very easy to talk to. I just wish it weren't so far to see him. 55 miles 1 way. Thing is, once you find a great doctor, you will stick with him no matter the distance. Dr McDonald has been upset with me before, but, it's because I deserved it. I wouldn't give him a 1 star rating because I was the facetious one, like a couple people did.He is very honest and you won't find any Bull sh... with him. Give him a call, tell him you read Gerits review. Have a great day.

He has been my doctor for 25 years and he has helped me stay well. I tell people he practices great preventative medicine. I might be seeing him for a cold, but I can expect he will quickly review my chart. I will be reminded that I need this or that reviewed. I would recommend him to anyone.
