If you are are referred to Dr. Pettine I suggest you ask to be referred to someone else. He is one of the worst people I have ever encountered. There was a miscommunication about my check in time so I ended up being early. No problem. I was placed in a patient room and about 20 minutes later I started to heard Dr. Pettine upset that I was so early and started to belittle his staff. HE continued on by reading items from my charts loud enough for the whole room and lobby to hear. All of this while his staff was explaining I was happy to wait. After listening to him complain that he needed to do paperwork and continue to be rude to the poor girls at the front I finally gave up and left. I asked if there was going to be a problem because I could hear everything from the room and he literally looked me up and down and turned around and walked away. He never even bothered to acknowledge my existence. I called my primary surgeon and told them I would not allow Dr. Pettine to touch me. Anyone… that treats people that badly should not be trusted in the medical profession.

Dr. Pettine is a great surgeon. He performed port placement and lumpectomy for me and did both surgeries in an excellent way. Recovery was surprisingly painless, fast and easy. He also took his time and explained everything I needed to know.

I was at ease with Dr. Pettine. He is such a caring surgeon. He makes sure that everything is on the up and up with a patients healht before he proceeds with any procedure. Aftercare was excellent quality. I recommend Dr. Pettine to anyone wishing bariatric surgery. You are in safe hands with Dr. Pettine.

When it comes to rating doctor Pettine I give him on a scale 1-10 a 100.. he is the sweetest most caring doctor I have met and he is soo wonderful with his Bariatric patients.. If you need a doctor I would definately check him out...
