Dr. Stefanie Lynn Addington, MD

She really listens to her patients with diabetes!

I would NOT recommend Stefanie Addington to anyone. Her staff is sloppy and poor communication. They mixed up lab orders, for example. The doctor failed to follow up with the pharmacy insurance for prior authorization—never followed up —never completed the form despite several attempts to contact her. Good luck if you give her a try despite this review ??

Dr. Stefanie Addington is a gem. She takes as much time as needed to really understand what is going on with her patients. She asks a lot of questions and actually listens to the responses given. She doesn’t have the typical endocrinologist “ego” and is open to patients having a say in their healthcare. I feel like I found an absolute diamond in the rough. I am a complex endocrine patient with multiple disorders and also happen to be pregnant, yet somehow I feel better than ever and it’s all because of her careful and expert care.

Dr. Addington is the best! I’m so glad she’s joined Internal Medicine Associates!! She is so knowledgeable and detail oriented, not to mention being very personable and courteous. We now have a plan and I look forward to putting this in place. Thank you, Dr. Addington!

Dr. Addington is warm and understanding about how difficult it is to have diabetes. She is the patient’s cheerleader as they struggle with the disease.

Treated poorly time and again. The staff ranges from the passive aggressive to the outright rude. I was pregnant and needing my thyroid levels checked, so I could get a prescription refill. They claimed they couldn’t get me in. Well I said I’ll find a different provider as I don’t want to lose my child. Suddenly I’m able to be seen. The Dr. spends an inadequate amount of time and does little but raise your meds. That’s it. No other recommendations or suggestions.

Dr. Addington takes the time to listen to concerns that I have. She is very personable and knowledgeable. I travel from Lewisville to Ft. Worth because I trust her for my thyroid concerns.
