Dr. Stella Nana Yaa Asantewa Hennen, MD

I've been a patient of Dr. Hennen for three years. I find her very knowledgeable and very easy to work with. She answers all of my questions and provides very good suggestions on how I can remain healthy. I highly recommend Dr. Hennen if you are looking for an eye doctor especially if you have diabetes.

After having a crao, crvo and a crbo, I have spent the last 2.5 months meeting with specialists. My optometrist, wanting to make sure nothing was missed in my case, referred me to Dr. Hennen. She did a thorough workup and diagnosed me with a milder form of glaucoma. I've seen at least four retinal specialists before meeting with Dr. Hennen. Although she is not a retinal specialist, she is a stand out doctor in comparison to the care I have been receiving. Her expertise (not limited at all limited to glaucoma) and the time she took to answer my many questions was a refreshing change. Unlike the other specialists, she listened to my concerns offered recommendations as well as a referral to a new retinal specialist to continue to monitor me.
