Dr. Stephanie Blair Berman, MD

Definitely would NEVER recommend. No bedside manners and rude to her patients. She spend your appointment on the computer filling in Patient Gateway information. Won't give you more than 19 1/2 minutes of her time. Guess what Dr. Berman, have bigger fish to fry then waste our time seeking medical help from you. Bye bye.

Dr. Berman seemed bored and annoyed the day I saw her. . I found her very judgemental, condescending and pushy on things I did not want to have done, for reasons I do not need to explain. I've seen A LOT of doctors in my life and I've never felt that uncomfortable. Will not be going back to her.

Did not seem to know basic information regarding tests and the effect of being on antibiotics, making testing for specific infections inaccurate. Also was dismissive and aloof.

Dr. Berman was excellent at controlling my diabetes. She is very efficient, ordered the necessary tests, modified my insulin regimen accordingly and had me stabilized. She is not only a competent doctor but also a caring human being who will ask the right questions and take the time to listen.

Not thorough, and very dismissive of the elderly. Was part of a team that induced a heart attack in my mother, that could have been prevented. Dr. Berman stayed five feet away from the patient during an exam, and didn't check her heart rate, nor notice that there were excessive creams on her chest put on by a nurse that was increasing my mother's her heart rate, and induced a heart attack. Also Dr. Berman misdiagnosed the entire reason why my mother was hospitalized in extreme pain. Dr. Berman thought it was just pain of being old and having Parkinsons Disease. The next day, after I insisted on seeing another doctor, my mother was diagnosed with fourth stage lung cancer.

Misdiagnosed a serious illness, was condescending and made serious misjudgments.

She seemed uncaring and bored with my concerns. Instead of trying to help me find a diagnosis/solution she made clear the fact that she thought my concerns were not real. When I mentioned unexplained weight gain as part of my symptoms she made a rude comment about how just because I was 15 lbs overweight I shouldn't try to blame it on a hormonal condition. I feel that a doctor is someone with whom you should feel comfortable expressing your concerns, and someone who you trust will help you address them. That was not the case--she was judgmental and rude. To be fair, she did still run a few tests (despite thinking my symptoms were not real), but the attitude with which she carried the whole visit was unprofessional, and I still felt I couldn't trust her to be my health advocate.

Dr. Berman is hands down the best doctor I've ever had. She's caring and very knowledgeable.

Is not knowledgeable about basic testing and the effects of having taken antibiotics already on tests. Treats patients as if you are wasting her time. Find another doctor.
