Dr. Stephanie Freeman

Stephanie Freeman is a licensed clinical social worker. Stephanies counseling style is warm and compassionate. She believes in treating everyone with respect. Her ultimate goal is to help individuals create happier, healthier lives. In sessions, Stephanie uses a blend of cognitive behavioral therapy, dialectical behavioral interventions, and motivational interviewing. She treats anxiety, depression and mood disorders, as well as helping patients build up their coping skills, navigate peer and intimate relationships, build self-esteem, and manage stress. She treats patients 12 years old and older.

Stephanies clinical experience includes providing inpatient psychiatric services and outpatient telehealth services. She has been treating patients since 2016. Outside of work, Stephanie enjoys cooking, gardening, traveling, and watching soccer. She has 3 dogs. Stephanie enjoys working with SohoMD because its team is dedicated to collaborating in providing high-quality mental health services …for their clients.
