Dr. Stephanie E Fugate, MD

She was an hour late to the appointment and didn’t seem apologetic for it. She denied my request for a midwife with no medical reasoning, she said she simply did not believe in them. She rushed through the appointment and did not listen to any of my needs or concerns and proceeded to tell me to return a week later for my lab work, which was the original reason for the appointment. She had me schedule the original appointment based on my due date and then told me I wasn’t far enough along which shows that maybe she hadn’t read my records. I did not have a good experience

The best gyn or any doc I've ever had. She's not only really, really good at what she does, it's HOW she does it. She's calm, efficient, incredibly competent, and warmly caring--all at the same time. She takes in everything you tell her and provides her care with that in mind. Despite being very busy, she'll remember everything you've ever told her and treat you as if you're her only concern. She does procedures with exceptional skill, and at the same time helps you through whatever issue you're facing. She's brilliant at helping you deal with the emotional aspects of a health issue. Having a visit or procedure with her can feel like you were just enveloped in a benevolent cloud, and you come out realizing you got not only amazing attentiveness but exceptionally competent health care. I've never felt such trust in a doctor. She's one in a million.

By far the best doctor I've had GYN or any other!! She remembers all my issues every time I see her. Confident & caring. Spends plenty of time with me. I never feel rushed.

I can't say enough good things about Dr. Fugate; there's only one con - she is so good, getting an appt with her can be difficult. Once you see her, though, you can understand why she is in such high demand. She's fantastic - remembered my issues from one appt to another 6 months later; assisted us with fertility issues. She's the best gyn I've ever had and hopefully will be our OB if the fertility issues can be resolved.

I have incompetent cervix (lost a 21 weeker prior) and wanted to be treated by a perinatologist. Dr. Fugate assured me that she could see me and handle my very delicate situation.Her confidence was reassuring. She saw me every week and even made special appointments when none were available. She went far above and beyond.She watched my pregnancy like a mother hawk. At 25 weeks , I gave birth to a 1lb 15oz baby. She is now 3 years old and perfect. Dr.Fugate was so vigilant and so caring. My 25 weeker was born breathing on her own and as God would have it, Dr. Fugate gave me a steroid to mature her lungs, one week before. I will never be able to thank her enough for everything that she did and everything that she is. Hopefully, she practices until....
