I have never seen someone so patient and encouraging in the delivery room. I pushed for nearly 4 hours and she didn’t once suggest a c- section.

I had to have a procedure performed after having a miscarriage. Dr. Malka had the most amazing bedside manner and really put me at ease during a difficult time. She was truly amazing, and I would highly recommend her as a Doctor.

Amazing doctor she was so kind and patient and cared for me like im her one and only patient!

Dr. Melka has the worst bedside manner I personally have ever experienced. I found her to lack the basic compassion and kindness one would expect from a doctor in obstetrics. Besides her demeanor, I also found her to be very perfunctory in going over information and, accordingly, I feel that I did not receive important information that would have factored into making my decisions. In my opinion, there are MUCH better options in Manhattan - ladies, please do your research. Speak to your friends and ask questions not just about the practice but about Dr. Melka specifically. When you are going through such an important time in your life, you want both a qualified and kind doctor by your side. I would NOT recommend Dr. Melka.
