Dr. Panelle came in to the exam room before even reviewing my case as I heard the student quickly updating her in the hallway & through the doorway into the room . I was a return patient with multiple chronic illnesses & a history colo-rectal issues. She examined me, told me there was nothing she would do & to call back in a week If I was still In pain. I had been in pain for a year. The hospitals GI team told me to go to her next If I was still struggling. When I went to ask a follow up question, still pantsless and vulnerable, she put her hands into a praying pose & bowed at me, signaling the end of the visit. Never have I ever been treated so callously & with so much disregard. And to think I had to pay for that! As did my insurance! Literal nothing. She called me on my way home and caught me in tears. She told me to call back to schedule an MRI if I was still hurting but I’d never go to her for care again. Left her entire hospital! One can’t receive care from someone who… doesn’t care.

Love her level of professionalism and her care for her patients! Hands down the best colorectal surgeon with outstanding bedside manner!
