Dr. Stephanie Marie Rubino, MD

I recently passed a kidney stone but still have pain in my front and back side. Had X-ray, ultra sound and a ct scan. The ct scan was done at Indiana hospital because I did not want to wait 1 1/2 months to get it from Latrobe. Was recommended to see dr Rubino for further diagnosis. All I got from her was a talking down to because I used somewhere else to get one of the tests. She never examined me for the pain I am having, just kept telling me she could not see what was going on. She said my other tests showed no stone and everything looked good, I told her I still had pain, she told me she could not see anything wrong. Maybe if she tried to feel where the pain was she would get an idea of what was going on. I thought doctors took a Hippocratic oath, she must have taken a hypocrite oath.

I am Martin's wife, and he is unwell in bed: therefore, I am writing this review for him. Dr. Rubino is the most inconsiderate or unorganized "doctor" we have ever used. Dr. Rubinolacks bedside manner! I am wondering how she graduated from medical school, perhaps last in her class. She performed a procedure on my husband to check for prostate cancer on Dec 14, 2020, and she said to expect about ten days to get the report due to the holidays. Today is Jan 6, 2021, and we have called her office three times to no avail. The excuses are as follows: her nurse said on Jan 3, "Yes, the report is here, and I will send her an email that you want to know the results." The next day I called: "She is in surgery all day." Today, my 3rd call and I asked the nurse to send the report to his family doctor and that she will tell us the results, and the nurse said that she would. My husband is not well, and he is concerned, rightfully so, about the test results. If this doctor is so busy that she can't… give us the test results, she needs to stop taking new patients. I do not recommend this doctor. She is a poor excuse for a physician. Disgusted and disappointed.

Does not care about patients. Went for stone removal and she damaged my kidney. Turns out she also over looked a stone... left stent in to long it started to corrode.
