Dr. Stephanie Myra Schwartz, MD

It took me two weeks to get an appointment. I pulled into the parking lot and decided to call the office to verify which building they were located in(there are two medical buildings right next to eachother). The lady at the front desk places me on hold. In the meantime, I walk in, still on hold, and the lady is sitting at the desk on her cellphone. It gets better! After checking in, she proceeds to tell me that I am in her system, but that I don't have an appointment. She kept saying she doesn't know who I spoke with that made the appointment, knowing full well that it was her. Then she tried to blame the doctor saying that she moves her appointments around. She walked away to talk to the doctor, and then came back saying that the doctor could not fit me in after I had the proof of the phone call, the details about the appointment, and everything they asked me to bring to my appointment. Stay away! Not only is the office unprofessional, but it's disgusting, both outside and inside the… building. There were holes in the walls inside their waiting area and it was filthy!

One of the BEST doctors in Baytown. I have been a patient of her's for more than 20 years. Interfaces very well with patients with mental disabilities. She tell you what you need to know, either good or bad.

Dr. Schwartz is smart, congenial, and listens to her patients. I have been one of them for many years due to a chronic condition that she and her wonderful staff help me to manage. Thanks to her expert guidance, and her ability to ask the seemingly unrelated questions that can make a world of difference in overall care, I have been able to drastically reduce the number & strength of medications I take. She has always taken into account my preferences when deciding upon treatment plans, including outside tests and therapies. She also has a sense of humor, which is a lovely find in a specialist of her calibre!

She told me she was trying to "figure me out" instead of trying to figure out how to address my issues. Never explained what was going on. Poor bedside and communication.

This doctor diagnosed me with three different things, and then finally got it right. With my diagnosing she put extreme limitations, that eventually cost me my job.
