Dr. Stephanie Ann Van Ulft, MD

Dr. Van Ulft is an excellent physician. She has experience working in the Acute Care Department working with in-patient care as well as working with those who wish to be seen in-office. I had the problem where a former practitioner who saw me during one office visit, two days before leaving practice who missed my diagnosis. I was taken off medication I had been on for 12-years and quickly changed to one drug that's side effects were completely against my character. After three days on the medication I telephoned the office he worked in and was told to stop the medication and see Dr. Van Ulft. What a blessing! She spent time with me and had a great listening ability. She explained my situation, prescribed the prior medication I was taking back to me with one minor change and I have felt 100-percent better. She knew very quickly prior to me showing up in her office as a patient that her medical documents she had on me honestly just didn't add up with my diagnoses or… medication. She knows how to explain medicine and effects. Dr. Van Ulft explained my care plan, or future outlook on the medication that I was taking and showed me that there was room for adjustment should the time come in the future. Van Ulfts' professionalism is above par and board and she is truly someone that cares about the patient and their well being! If you are lucky enough to schedule an appointment with her at her new location in Springfield, Illinois, please consider her someone you can trust with your well-being. I am younger than geriatric care, but she sure treated me well and I would honestly feel very comfortable and a bit honored referring anyone to her. She's a special doctor and understands her clients.

Dr. Van Ulft has helped me more with my bi-polar condition than anyone in my 67 years. Her knowledge is beyond the best. She was a God-sent to me after so many years of seeing the proper diagnosis and treatment for my illness. No one is more knowledgeable in her field. She has a caring personality also. She is a true leader in her field.
