Dr. Stephany Ann George, MD

Stephanie George is an exceptional doctor. She delivered my son C-section and did an amazing job. She is a perfectionist in her work and put much care into her work. Did you not even see my scar and the quality of care I received from her was very good. It’s hard to find a good doctor out here and Stephanie is definitely top-notch.

Awful. Ignorant. Condescending. Belittled me. Treated me as if I made up my symptoms. Painful, rough exam. Didn't even address half of my issues. Worst experience with a doctor in my 48 years. UPMC Cole should be ashamed to have someone like this practicing for them even if she is just filling in. She said she lives in Ohio and travels 5 hours to work in Coudersport, Pa. No wonder. Every woman in Ohio probably knows to steer clear of her. I will be writing to the hospital to formally complain. She offers zero worthwhile healthcare for women. What a disservice and a waste of my healthcare dollars.

Not satisfied.

I'm shocked that any kind of doctor would conduct her self in the manner stephany george did. Abrasive, confrontational and uncaring. Her ethics are questionable, as with her knowledge. I agree with others who post her works ups seem unnecessary, seems like a way to drive up revenue. I recommend going else where.

Just awful

Awful. It is appalling that a physician can conduct her self in the manner she does. Useless physician unneeded follow up procedures and work ups. You almost feel like you are a lab rat. Really sad.

Better service is likely provided at a free clinic. I do not recommend. Did not like her personality, and her expertise is questionable.

Not knowledgeable and does not take time explaining things to you. Always in a rush. Useless unnecessary work ups.

She comes off and is extremely aggressive and abrasive. Does not handle patient inquires, and does not take patient concerns seriously. I sincerely do not recommend this physician, as she does not make me feel as though I am in good hands. I saw her once because she accepted my insurance and would get me in right away ( now I realize why - because in my opinion people are not satisfied with her). Not going back, her treatment does not warrant me as a patient.
