Summary
I have written books and published articles on topics related to addiction and the overlap between addiction and chronic pain. In 2006 was recognized by American Society of Addiction as 1 of 219 Fellows for contributions to this Society. I was recognized for my efforts on behalf of addicts by the South Jersey Parent to Parent--a nonprofit that assists addicts and their families in the recovery process. I have served as a residency director, health system chief medical officer, trustee for nonprofit organizations, member of state-appointed task forces, and lecturer by invitation at medical society meetings and webinars.
