Dr. Stephen John Conner, MD

Dr Stephen J. Conner has been my Primary Care Physician for upwards of 20 yrs. I trust him without question. He is extremely knowledgeable, thorough and he welcomes any questions I may have. He has always presented me various options and allowed me to have input into my care. Dr Conner has helped me navigate my way through some very dark times. For a period of time, it was necessary for me to see him regularly as I was struggling both mentally and physically. I am so much better than I was and I know that it is due in part to his patience and that he cares about me as a person. Dr Conner is an exceptional physician!

Dr Connor in family medicine is a legal opioid dealer. Who in their right mind prescribes 60 percocet pills each month to a patient for long term treatment? Long term as in over 7 years. Who does he answer to that allows this? Dont expect to find help once they have hooked you on opioids if your are not active military either. And forget about finding a treatment center in the state of Georgia that takes Medicare or TriCare for life. Your only option is a place in Augusta called Rivermend which charges 1k a day because Tricare and Medicare are not taken at this facility. The ER is also apart of this ongoing opioid crisis. If you ever need a fix, go into the ER for chest pains. Your ECG can come back fine and they will still give you a highly addictive morphine fix. Dr Akers who happens to have one star reviews online for having a big ego and being rude to his unlucky patients states its protocol. Guess what? Doctors Hospital doesn't use this protocol this trap house Eisenhower… uses. You all are a huge part of the opiod crises. Take responsibility, inform your higher ups for a change before this gets even further out of hand and ruins more of the lives of those who have served this country. There are other options for long term pain medications. There are other options for treating chest pains in the ER.
