Dr.Curtis is an unprofessional, arrogant, full-blown narcissist. Save yourself the hassle and look elsewhere.

Dr. Curtis is very bright, very intelligent and will bring this to your attention. He knows psychiatry but he lacks patient care skills. I did feel he prescribed appropriately for my son, and my son improved.

I saw this man when I was a teenager. He was frequently inappropriate. He would frequently hit on my mother and had no clue how to treat me as a patient. He tested a myriad of drugs on me that I later, as an adult, realized was completely unnecessary and off the wall. I thankfully found compassionate, thoughtful providers later on who were shocked at what he had put me on. A particular incident of poor practice stuck out to me when we were in the lobby and he noticed I was wearing a headband on my wrist and loudly asked if I was cutting myself in front of other patients and staff. Had that been the case, I don't think any teenager would have divulged that information in front of a room full of people. Completely unprofessional and bad practice.

This doctor is terrible, he tried to ask me on a date in a during my appt. he seemed very full of himself and also childish. he is smart and seems to know what he's talking about if you can get past the akwardness of him wanting to take you on a date. office staff is terrible and unfriendly. if you need a doctor who runs on schedule this guy is not for you. he very frquently runs behind and then he rushes his appointment with you but will charge you the full amount. i would not recomend this doctor to my worst enemy. im just am having trouble getting past him asking me out isn't there a law about that???

Dr. Curtis is a very knowledgeable professional. He answers questions in a way patients can comprehend. He has a caring and easy going bedside manner. The staff at the facility is often curt, sometimes even rude, but they do their jobs I suppose or they wouldn't be employed there. Ask the doc questions while you are in the office, because I've never had a call back from his office even when there is an urgent need for additional information. The waiting time in the office is a big down side, as sometimes the doc is late due to rounds at the hospital or whatever, and he gives each patient his full attention in the office. Each visit after the intake visit is scheduled for only 15 minutes, but invariably it takes longer than that. So be prepared to wait. Basically, if you are prepared to wait 30 minutes to an hour and 15 minutes; if you have all your questions prepared up front; if you don't have any urgent business that won't wait until the next scheduled appointment time;and if… you don't mind rude office staff;Dr. Curtis is the right physician for your child!
