Dr. Stephen J Dalrymple, MD

Dr Dalrymple is very professional and experienced in his field. Having surgery is never a fun experience but Dr. Dalrymple is very attentive after surgery. If required to stay at the hospital he checks in first thing every morning. The office staff is also very friendly and outgoing.

I’m not sure if they are on drugs or what. Very condescending and pushy. Rude when ask questions. Dr seemed nice.

He operated on me twice and I ended up as bad as before the operation. He seems to like operating twice on the same patient as both of my neighbors have had multiple surgeries like mine with the same result and if you really do your research only by asking around I think you will find that a lot of people in New Bern and the surrounding towns have had the same experience and there are a lot of these operations going on three of my cousins have had it by him as well and the other day which is what prompted me to write this review I was in Walmart and overheard the man in the checkout line in front of me mention he was going in for his second operation in his neck by him so I had to ask and he told me the same thing I'm telling you all here. He is into making money at our expense operation by operation. Wonder why he left Chicago Dr.Held told him it was a honey hole here. He's a Butcher he really messed me up and my neighbors and I'm assuming that the ones he "Fixed" probably weren't… that bad or didn't need the operation in the first place. Good Luck and God Bless.

I cannot thank Drs. Held & Dalrymple enough. Their staff is the best. All of my questions were answered with patience and kindness. When I began my journey with them, I could barely walk. Believe it or not, I actually skipped down the hallway to their office for my last follow up. I am so blessed that I was referred to them. Their care coordinators are angels and were able to handle insurance and scheduling with ease. Even in the midst of a hurricane and approaching holiday season, everything fell right into place. A hundred stars and tons of gratitude to everyone that helped me through the most difficult year in my entire life. If you have been referred or need to be, rest assured that you will be in good hands and will receive the best of care.

Dr Dalrymple is great if you get past the staff. No personality at the front desk and all the girls act as if they are doing you a favor to assist you. Very arrogant. Ease of making an appointment not so much seems you have to jump through hoops to get in to see Dr.

I've had two surgeries with this doctor and he's very good and thorough. I would not hesitate to go back to him in the future if need be. He and Dr. Held share the same practice and I've met him as well, both are excellent in my opinion.
