Dr. Stephen G Galston, MD

Their billing service screwed our charges. They said to wait until they had sorted it out with insurance. Dr Galston decides to con my 17 yr old son (his patient) into paying more than we owed. I have been trying to get our money back for 5 months now & they won't return calls. Insurance has been calling & emailing them and they won't respond. He also charged us for a no show ($145) when my son missed his call by 1 minute. Dr created this policy for no shows without telling us as well.

Galston almost ruined my life 20 years ago when I was 19. He misdiagnosed me, over medicated and emotionally abused me even saying that best thing for me would be for my mother to die. Yea, not the nicest or caring doctor out there. Cannot believe he is still in practice.

terrible doc. When I complained about him, people came to his defense. Make your own judgment.

He doesn’t actually care about how you are doing he just wants to refill the prescription and give you more pills and then charge your card.

Saw Dr. Galston a few times before giving up. He's not friendly and is even rude to some extent (strange judgmental comments out of nowhere), takes calls during your short appointment, rushes you, and before you're even done talking he wants to know how you'll be paying. He's an eating disorder specialist yet when I told him I was struggling with one, he completely brushed it off. His knowledge of medications seemed pretty up-to-date but I didn't like what he did with my meds and I actually got SICK as a result of the changes he made each time! DO NOT GO TO HIM. You deserve better!!

As stated by others, not a warm or personable guy. Never asks how you are or wishes you well when leaving. Totally unhelpful. Scheduling is a pain.

I find him very caring and helpful

Not a warm or personable doctor. When I met him, he didn't even introduce himself and hold out his hand. Quickly asked for the issue, had a few follow up questions and wrote a prescription. Looking elsewhere as I speak for another doctor.
