Dr. Stephen Christopher Hamilton, MD

Dr. Hamilton repaired a torn quadriceps and meniscus. I felt very comfortable after first meeting with him and when they rolled my into the operating room, I was totally relaxed. This was a week and two days ago and I didn't need ANY pain meds. The entire staff at Beacon Ortho must be mentioned also, as every one of them are great! If I ever need surgery related to ortho, I would not go anywhere else.

Standard procedure was quick 2 quick visits from unidentified assistants followed by brief time with Doctor. All very efficient - was never in office more than 10-15 min, but always seemed rushed. On two occasions, I thought Dr was coming back and had to try and get him back for additional questions. On my last visit, I told him that my physical therapist recommended dry needling, but I didn't know much about the procedure. He was re-assuring by saying "that's a good idea, I've had that done, I'll write order for that", but never did explain what the procedure was, and what benefits I might expect. I thought he would do so when he returned with the order. Instead, the order came with one of the assistants. When I asked to see Dr again to answer questions, I instead got assistant #2, who admitted that he didn't know much about the procedure. Dr Hamilton may be good surgeon (although I am still in worse pain 4 months post-op: still looking for cause), I don't think he listens… well to patients and seems to have very limited treatment toolkit when things don't work out as planned.

I appreciate everything Dr. Hamilton and his staff have done for me. I dealt with a laberal tear in my right hip for 3 years and he took great care of me. I work for a local hospital and would recommend Beacon and Dr. Hamilton to anyone.

Everybody is and have been awesome. Hope to see a surgical office in N. Ky in the future.

Dr. Hamilton has such wonderful bedside manner. He takes the time to make sure you understand your diagnosis and treatment plan. And he always gives options, never just jumps to surgery. He is wonderful with injections as well. You can truly tell he cares for his patients.

I've been running and playing basketball and volleyball for about thirty years now. I've seen the gammit of sports docs here locally in KY and none of them hold a candle to Dr. Hamilton. He is without a doubt the best in the region.

I took my son to Dr. Hamilton when he was complaining about knee pain. Dr. Hamilton was able to do a micro-incision procedure to repair my son's meniscus and with minimal therapy, we expect him to be back on the basketball court here soon!

Dr. Hamilton saw my 2 year old for a broken leg. He did amazing with him and took his time to get to know my son to maks him feel comfortable. Highly recommend him to anyone!

if you ever hurt yourself related to an athletic or sports type of injury, i cannot recommend dr hamilton highly enough. he has worked on several of the boys on my son's soccer team and they all rave about him. he knows his stuff and he will get you back to kicking really fast!

He actually operated on my mom's hip and my son's hip. outstanding work on both accounts. I have nothing but rave reviews for this man!
