So happy I chose Dr. Heim. I feel 100 percent better. He did a cervical spinal fusion and I am so much better. He literally saved my life.

Dr Hiem repaired my back that was botched by another doctor. After several years of misery he performed a very difficult revision and gave me my life and ability to work again.

Dr. Heim, has help me in so many ways. I have had surgery on my back and my neck and I wouldn't be where I am today if it wasn't for him. He is very humble, but a very great person at the same time. It won't willingly tell you that he was a Navy SEAL, and if you doubt that, please look at the pictures on his wall in the office. Love him, love him, and love the staff.

Had Dr. Heim perform a surgery on my back 2 years ago and I jumped back into working out shortly after his approval to start again. So far I still feel great and continue working out and running aggressively. I didn't realize how badly my back pain was impacting my life. The pain killers would just make daily activities bearable. Now I stretch every morning and after work outs - to prevent stiffness as the only impact from the surgery - I feel great. I had my initial consult with Dr. Heim. I was going to do physical therapy & get steroid injections. They did very little. I had my follow up with Dr. Heim. He told me that if I dont get surgery on my back within 16 weeks I will never walk again. That crushed me! My whole family suggested I follow his advice. I didnt I opted for holistic care. I did physical therapy & traction therapy with a chiropractor. I also got a 2nd opinion from a well respected neurosurgon. He said he never heard of a 16 week window. To keep doing what I am doing. All healed up now, running, biking, martial arts. Run, run as fast as you can away from Dr Heim!

Amazing Dr..

Dr. Heim completely misdiagnosed my condition. He told me I did not have pressure on my L5/S1 nerve root when I clearly had a serious problem. I ended up going to Loyola Univ. Hospital and Dr. Nockles cleared the pressure from the nerve and I am now in recovery.

He is the best!

Dr. failed to read his colleague's notes, or just blatantly ignored them. Spent months in PT, at his request, and it was not effective. Return visit and am told that he "can't do anything for me" and that "I may have to live with it". Terrible excuse for a medical practitioner. No idea how he is always 30 minutes behind schedule when he only spends 3 minutes with you.
