Stephen I. Hudis, DDS, FACP
Dentistry is more than a career to me. It is a calling. I am as passionate about what I do today as I was 30 years ago. I love coming to work every day and spending time with wonderful people. I truly believe that what I do can change lives!
Education
For my education, I first attained my Bachelor of Music from the New England Conservatory of Music. I then went on to attend the New York University College of Dentistry, where I received my DDS. I then attained my General Practice Residency from Bellevue Hospital Center in New York City. Finally, I earned my Certificate in Prosthodontics from the New York University College of Dentistry Advanced Education Program.
Continuing Education
In order to keep my skills sharp and my dental knowledge current, I love to teach! I am an Associate Clinical Professor in the Jonathan and Maxine Ferencz Advanced Education Program in Prosthodontics at New …York University College of Dentistry. I am also a volunteer professor eight hours per week at NYU during the academic year. Teaching is an opportunity to give back for what I have received and to help nurture the next generation of dentists. I enjoy watching young prosthodontists grow and develop.
In the Practice
I am an artist at heart! Before I decided to pursue dentistry as a career, I was a professional musician. Prosthodontics gives me the opportunity to combine art, science and technology. My career has afforded me the ability to change people’s lives, which makes every day incredibly rewarding for me!
One of the primary things I love about my patients is that each and every one is completely different. I love touching other lives and having my life enriched by theirs. After 31 years in practice, I have met some incredible people and have made wonderful friends. I look forward to meeting you and your family as well!
My staff and I try to make every day enjoyable for the patients we see. We have worked together for over ten years, and every staff member brings incredible talent and strength to the office. We function as a team, and are devoted to the best care for our patients. Making people's lives better is truly our greatest reward!
Family and Community
I was raised in the Bronx, NY, and have lived in Princeton for the past 21 years. My wife and I have two wonderful children together. In my spare time, I enjoy playing the piano, gardening, traveling and swimming. I am also active in our community, and have donated to the Dental Services of New Jersey for over ten years. I am also active in the Dental Volunteers for Israel and the International College of Dentistry, which provides free treatment for Peace Corps volunteers. I am also proud to be involved with Reach-out Healthcare America, which provides exams and treatment to NJ National Guard Soldiers being deployed overseas.
