Dr. Stephen Philip Katz, MD

I’ve been seeing dr KATZ over 20 years, he has always made himself available when needed, even came to see me in the hospital after 9:00pm once. After using just almost every kind of pain killers available ( had 8 failed back surgeries) we settled on two that seemed to work. About 6 years ago we decided to use a spinal cord stimulator which worked ok, however I have just upgraded to the new design which is far superior to the old units. I would recommend this to anyone who doesn’t like taking all those pain pills or patches. Dr KATZ can fix u up with this device, and get u back into the world of the living. I highly recommended Dr KATZ

I have been seeing Dr. Katz for over a year. After the first appointment I went.back to my primary Dr. For another referral. This man is rude. He belittles me, gets in my face, calls me names, (I am over weight) calls me a cheepsake because he thought ii didn't want.to pay my copay for shots, which actually turned out.to be an epidural which. He had never discussed with me. I wanted.to know risk, side effects etc. Again in my face he replied death and walked out. I would never suggest seeing him. He is a real .....

I was referred to Dr. Katz earlier this year with inoperable back problems after no one would think about touching me. I had heard things about him and I am one to form my own opinion. So far as the treatment he is not one to pull the trigger on any thing to sudden. As of now I am totally 100% satisfied and think the world of him as a man and the Dr. My back problems are not gone but we are in a trial stage now and so far we are making progress.....

He has been my doctor for the last 8 years, i have a condition from a dramatic brain injury. I honestly believe if Dr. Katz was not so knowlege in his field i would not be living a productive life. I thank him for all the difficult times he has pulled me thru. Hope he stays around for a long time. My condition i will have to live with for the rest of my life, but it is very comforting that i have the best in his field taking care of me.

Very pleased with his bedside manner, willing to help, and knowledge. Would highly recommend to anyone with legitimate pain issues. Kind and compassionate with patients.

Dr. Katz really wants to help. He tried several medications until he found the best combination for my wife. He wants to make the patient comfortable. Overall as doctors visits goes not bad. Only complaint may be sometimes wait past appointment time may go as lone as 30 min or more.
