Dr. Stephen Benjamin Keen, MD

I've been going to Dr. Keen since 2013. He has always taken the time to listen me and hear my list of aches and pains. He has common sense, and has never steered me wrong with referrals. I drive from Port Orange to Palm Coast because I like him that much.

Dr. Keen is a wonderful physician. He is brilliant, knowledgeable and extremely caring. He gives me all the time I need with him. He reminds me of Doogie Howser. The office staff is very kind and caring as well.

My husband was seen there and had labs done. They really seem to not know what they are doing and constantly want to schedule another appointment so they can bill you I’m sure. When I called and explained that we had had sick children and both missed work and he is within his 90 days at a new job and that we couldn’t just come in a couple times a week over labs that could be discussed over the phone they scheduled a phone appointment again so that they could bill. At this phone appointment all they did is say that they were referring him to an endocrinologist for something that medical guidelines say they should just treat. My husband requested multiple times that the actual Dr. Keen please call him but to no avail they didn’t return his calls. I scheduled my primary care appointment for 10 AM since I work in Saint Augustine and when I arrived they insisted that it was at 2:30. I never schedule appointments in the middle of the day because again I work in Saint Augustine. The… receptionist simply gave me a dirty look and didn’t care. I immediately called Florida healthcare and changed my primary care physician. Maybe the actual doctor is more professional, prepared, and knowledgeable but we wouldn’t know because he wouldn’t return our call.

He now has to many patients and is rushed. Cut back to less hours in the office making it difficult to get an appointment.

Outstanding dude!

My husband and I had our first primary care appointment with Dr. Keen yesterday. I was taken aback at how young he looked, but after that first impression, I was delighted with his manner. He was professional but not stuffy. He was open to questions and gave us good information about his recommendations. I don't like going to doctors that I don't know, but it was a very pleasant experience and I am delighted to have him as my primary care physician.

Dr. Keen is a wonderful doctor. He listened to me and I mean really listened! Explained things in ways I could understand! I am so thankful he is my family doctor!

Almost 2 weeks and I have not received results of simple urine test. Called twice - results were in, but MD needs to review first. Also found out Dr. Keen is dropping all insurances except for Fl. Health Care. NO arrangements for those patients to see a substitute provider!

My husband and I recently saw doctor Keen to establish a new patient relationships. He was very personable and knowledgeable. We actually got in a little before our appointment times and he spent time talking to us and getting to know our medical history.

Dr. Keen is wonderful & very caring. He listens & explains his strategy with you. I'm always very comfortable talking to him.
