Dr. Stephen F Kulcsar, DO

Dr. Kulcsar is great!!! He treated many people in my family. He was always very attentive and caring. He was very knowledgeable and when he wasn't sure - he would say "Im not sure but let me find out". He has gotten appointment for my grandpa that his previous doctor never ever considered and he was able to control his diabetes. But, he no longer works in the clinic my family goes and now they are stuck with a NP and nurses that they don't really like. I strongly recommend.

After 3 yrs my PCP changed to Dr Kulcsar - only I never saw him but the nurses. They were good enough as I've always been in good enough health or saw specialists. When I needed medicine authorized, I actually got to meet Dr. Kulcsar (year 4 and 5). He was fine but several medical records were missing. There's also a 2 year gap in my files with Gloucester Family Health. Even my blood work and height/weight info was missing: Something that makes no sense to me. I'm guessing negligence like this is why some of the nurses left. Sad and VERY frustrating. The doctor was unintentionally condescending - Give the guy the benefit of the doubt, he probably has on clue the admin staff is so incompetent nor must be know what to do about them. The women in the front office will ignore you if they're deep in conversation and it took me 3 weeks to get an serious medication refilled. One woman told me that MassHealth "doesn't cover prescriptions." When I report the problems the pharmacy and… MassHealth had with the office, my messages to the doctor went unreturned 3/4 of the time and only a nurse ever responded when I asked specifically for the doctor. Now into year 6 I will be leaving to see a functional doctor in Newburyport and I recommend everyone do the same. Get a doctor in tune who won't fail you.

Dr, Kulcsar was the best doctor, very polite, listens to you, great bedside manner, I was so happy I found him. And then he left the practice, which I was very sad to hear he had left. I had been his patient for 3 years, now I really don't know who I'm going to get for another doctor, that I can trust and get along with, and someone who listens and answers your questions.

Dr kulscar is the ultimate in doctors. I wish everyone could have him as a doctor. He is young, bright and easy to talk to. Nobody seems to know what happened since he left the practice. The two other doctors are cold and irritable.

Dr. Kulcsar is the most patient, understanding doctor I have ever been to. He listens attentively and he answers any questions I have, doesn't rush you out of the office. If he hadn't come onboard, I would have left that practise a long time ago.

Are you kidding?????? He may be ok for general follow ups or check ups. But if you are really sick? Find another doctor. Seriously.

Doesn't really hear what his patients are saying... He should try to listen a little better and not jump to conclusions.Seriously? I would not recommend him to anyone (unless you are in good health and don't have any medical problems)... find a doctor who has basic listening skills.
