Dr Lockey is a literal saint. I am a young college student suffering from spinal issues, which has lead many providers to brush me off or call my condition “normal” NONE OF THAT HERE! Dr Lockeys respect for my hesitation on narcotics and opioids, due to my age, was stunning, not once did I feel pressured to take a step I wasn’t comfortable in, which can’t be said about other local spinal practices. Walking out of his office; I feel more educated, respected, and understood than I have ever with a provider. If you need help with your back, he literally has your back.

Dr Lockey was very thorough and professional. From day one I knew I was in good hands. The surgery was a complete success.

After I exhausted all options from physical therapy to medical pain management, he presented a conservative approach to address my spinal disorder. He gave a clear, easy to understand explanation of my condition, the surgical procedure, and recovery steps – all with a pleasant demeanor and patience for my concerns and questions. All went well! No complications; no more back pain; great follow-up throughout the healing process. I highly recommend him and his team!

Dr. Lockey is amazing!! Superb surgeon but just as important amazing human being who deeply cares for his patients! Could not be in better hands!!

Dr. Lockey is a spinal surgeon who is a doctor first and a surgeon second. In my case I have lower spine issues and a bum hip, both of which are candidates for possible surgery. Instead of surgery Dr Lockey recommended a regimen of physical therapy which over the last year has basically eliminated my spine and hip pain. I will never be 55 again but at 84 there are many days when I think I am. My two daughters, my son-in-law, and my sister-in-law who are all physicians are impressed with Dr Lockey’s consideration of alternatives to surgery. As one put it, too many orthopedic surgeons have a “have scalpel - will travel” approach to patient care. I strongly endorse Dr Lockey’s approach to patient care.
