Dr. Lockey has unbelievably good listening skills and ability to explain things to his patients. He is caring, encouraging and values a patient's time as well as their feelings. I am grateful there are still doctors who love people and practicing medicine more than simply scheduling surgeries. Dr Lockey is a gift to UVA Health!

Stephen was very friendly and was very understanding of my daughters desire to return to return to soccer. Explained things very clearly to her in ways a teenager could understand.

This office is full of angels! Been struggling with extreme pain for 6 months and I've been told by other providers my pain is "normal," not only did Dr Lockey address my pain, he allowed me a large say in the next steps of treatment so I wouldn't lose out on treatment or income! I don't think I could recommend him to enough people. I was so worried that pain medication would be the only thing offered, and he was immensely respectful and understanding when I stated I would not even consider them!
