Dr Mass was very nice and has helped me with a couple of issues. He listened to my concerns and did all he could to help me. I highly recommend him.

I had a follow up with Dr. Mass for a nosebleed that was misdiagnosed in the ER as an anterior bleed. After 3 miserable days of bleeding, he properly diagnosed me with a posterior bleed so severe I needed emergency surgery! He sent me straight back to the ER and performed my surgery a few hours later. He literally saved my life. I am forever grateful!! Thank you, Dr. Mass!!

I saw Dr. Mass in the Doylestown, PA office for persistent vocal dysphonia. he diagnosed right vocal cord paralysis and ordered a CT scan to rule out a tumor as the cause of the problem. it is now 4 business days (6 total days) later, i'm still waiting for the office staff to get around to calling my insurance carrier to get pre-authorization for the scan. seriously. it takes 4 days to simply request authorization? worse, when i called to find out the status, i was told the request was in progress "as we speak". that's a direct quote from the person at the front desk. when i heard nothing else from them, i called the insurance company and had 5 different people there - including 2 supervisors and a manager - confirm that Dr. Mass' office has not submitted any pre-authorization requests in 6 months. obviously, the person in the front office flat-out lied to me. Dr. Mass may or may not be a fine physician; but if his gatekeepers lie to patients and refuse to act on potentially… urgent requests for care, his qualifications become irrelevant. my advice would be to look for another medical practice - you can certainly do better than this one.

If I could give zero stars I would. Last YEAR I saw Dr.Mass for severe sinus problems and he ordered a head CT. He told me my septum was deviated but “not enough to cause these problems”. So he sent me to get allergy tested. I saw 2 different allergists and nothing came up positive. At all. A year later after trying a bunch of nose prays and medications.. I saw a different ENT today and she actually showed me how curved my septum is (he never actually showed me my scan he just told me) and I’m going to need nose surgery. Dr.Mass doesn’t care about your health go to Berger Henry. Thanks to him I’ve spent hundreds on appointments and medications and not to mention my pain and suffering has been prolonged which he never even cared about in the first place. I never felt out at ease by him only talked down to.

Dr. Mass is an excellent physician. Very thorough with a great bedside manner. He treats not only the illness, but the person as well. I highly recommend Dr. Mass.

Rips off insurance and copy's by scheduling appointments that could be a phone call-says too busy to make a call?
